Five Australian Cities Are the World’s Most Livable for 2023

Out of the about 10,000 cities in the world, five major Australian cities remain the world’s most livable for 2023. Australia Immigration Professionals says that cities in Australia are now stable as opposed to what it was like during the pandemic.
In the 2023 edition of the yearly Global Livability Index released by the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), 172 cities were covered in the report and five Australian cities were among the top 20 best cities in the world.
The rankings considered several factors: healthcare, stability, infrastructure, culture, and education.

Melbourne is the Australian state of Victoria’s capital. The city came in 3rd out of 172 of the most livable cities in the world.

Sydney is the capital city of the state of New South Wales and the most populous city in Australia. The city came in 4th out of 172 of the most livable cities in the world.

 

3. Adelaide

Adelaide is the capital of South Australia and the fifth-most populous city in Australia. The city came in 12th out of 172 of the most livable cities in the world.

4. Perth

Perth is the capital and largest city of Western Australia and the fourth most populous city in Australia. It came in 13th out of the 172 most livable cities in the world.

5. Brisbane

Brisbane is the capital of Queensland and the third-most populous city in Australia. It came in 16th out of the 172 most livable cities in the world.

Australia Immigration Professionals says that cities in Australia bounced up and down the rankings during the pandemic and have experienced improved scores in the healthcare category compared to the last report.
